Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Introduction:

If you are looking for a Chocolate chip cookies recipe then you landed at the right place. For a decade, I am using this recipe and I am sure if you try this, you are going to love it. There are tons of cookie recipes but this one is my favourite and probably will be yours too.

Few Notes on Important Ingredients:

Butter: Use softened butter for these cookies to avoid mixing the butter for a long time in the machine. White Butter is fine but for superior taste use salted butter.

This is the specialty of these cookies in every bite you have to feel the moderate taste of salt.

Sugar: For the bakery, normally Castor sugar is used but for Chocolate chip cookies I advise to use brown sugar.

Chocolate chips: is the most important ingredient of a cookie that melts in mouth as soon as you take a bite.

Flour: Use the all-purpose flour but pay attention and weigh it before using. Exact weight measurement as per the recipe is essential as extra amount of flour can spoil the taste of the cookies.

Leavening Agent: Use a perfect quality of leavening agent. Perhaps, do you know how to test a leavening agent?

Baking Soda: Take half a cup of water, 1/4 cup vinegar and 1/4 cup baking soda and mix them together. If it starts to bubble, then it's fine otherwise you need to change it.

Baking powder: Mix 1/2 a teaspoon of baking powder with 1/2 a cup of water. Similarly, if it starts to bubble, then you need to change it too.

Points to be noted during Mixing and Baking:

Always use soften butter for classic Chocolate chip cookies recipe. So for mise-en-place take out the butter from the freezer and leave it at normal temperature. Don't make the mixture of butter and sugar in creamy texture or don't paddle for too long.

When you begin to roll the cookies don't rotate the mix for too long either, as the hand temperature will cause the chocolate to melt. Give your cookies a little rest in the freezer before baking. As the mixture is already in room temperature, continuous preparation can affect the process which isn't ideal for baking.

Pay attention to the entire process like bake the cookies at correct temperature, preheating the oven is very important, don't over-bake the cookies, the exact time of baking will give the perfect texture to your cookies.

Some Important Notes:

Try to prepare the mixture fast when you put one ingredient and don't wait long enough for the next ingredient.

Unsalted butter also gives a good result but try to use salted butter for chocolate chip cookies.

In the final mixing, when you put the chocolate chip do not leave the mixture in the machine for a long time.
