Oil Muffins, Cupcakes, and Their Mixing
Introduction Muffins and Cupcakes:
The perfect breakfast is incomplete without the Muffin and the kid's party is not able to enjoy without Cupcakes. And the Oil Muffins you can make with the easy ingredients. Eggs, sugar (grounded), oil, milk, flour, baking powder, and quick mixing. Cupcake is one of the best in the list of American desserts.
Recipe of Oil Muffins:
Eggs: 15 nos.
Sugar: 500 gm
Oil: 400 gm
Milk: 100 ml
Flour: 600 gm
Baking powder: 12 gm
Method to make Oil Muffins:
Sieve the flour along with the baking powder and keep aside. Take a bowl to break the eggs and put them in a bowl. Add the sugar and beat the eggs and sugar with a whisk for a minute. Slowly add the oil, and constantly mix the mixture. Add milk and mix continuously in the last add the sieved flour and fold the mixture properly.
Grease the muffin mould and put the mixture in the muffin mould. Bake it in the preheated oven at 180°C for 12 to 15 minutes.
Butter Muffin:
Butter muffin is a very delicious dry cake for breakfast. Simple recipe but during making the mixture you suppose to be a little careful otherwise mixture can be curdled. After making the mixture before put in the muffin mould give some rest to the mixture. Then place it in the mould for baking. As soon as you take out muffin from the oven, sprinkle some sugar syrup on the top of the muffin. Then cover it with a plastic bag or a foil. This method keeps your muffins soft for long hours.
Recipe:
Butter: 500 gm
Sugar: 500 gm
Eggs: 500 gm
Vanilla bean: 1 tbsp
Flour: 500 gm
Baking powder: 12 gm
Curd: 100 gm (optional)
Method:
Beat the butter in the mixing bowl with a paddle for 2 to 3 minutes and make it soft. Then add the sugar and beat until the mixture becomes fluffy. Add the eggs and beat the mixture constantly on slow speed and don't put the eggs altogether. Meanwhile, sieve the flour along with baking powder, add vanilla essence. Curd is optional in the muffin mix. Uses of curd give a nice shape to your muffin from the top. Add the flour and fold the mixture properly.
MUFFINS
Why to Give some rest to the mixture:
If you give some rest to muffin mix flour absorb the liquid in the batter. And the batter becomes thicker and with good consistency. All-purpose flour contains gluten and it needs time to rest to perform exactly. You can give rest your muffin mix overnight also.
Place the mixture in the greased muffin mould put for baking in the preheated oven at 180°C for 15 minutes. As soon as remove the muffin from the oven sprinkle some sugar syrup. On the top of muffins and cover it. Don't keep it open otherwise the muffins will become hard in a few hours.
You can make oil muffins and butter muffins with different flavours. Just keep the recipe the same. And add the flavour as taste or around 120 gm according to the above recipe.
For how long you can keep the muffins?
At room temperature, you store the muffins for at least 2 to 3 days.
