For 8 inches 1 to 1 hour 40 minutes

For 11 inches 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours.

How To Prepare Almond Paste For Three Tier Wedding Cake:

Method: Mix icing sugar and almond powder together add whole eggs, few drops of lime juice, almond essence and knead it to a smooth paste leave it for some time swapped in greased proof paper before you start covering.

How to apply Almond Paste:

  1. Put the top on first them side strip.

  2. Put aside strips first then the top.

  3. Roll out the almond paste to round large enough to cover top and side and mould to cake.

How To Use Royal Icing:

First prepare royal icing of pouring consistency with shifted icing sugar, egg white, lime juice and few drops of color. Pour royal icing on a fruit cake which is already covered with almond paste and smoothen the sides with a palette knife. Give second coating of royal icing if possible.

Prepare royal icing of piping consistency. Prepare bags and decorate all three using paste No. 1, 2, 3 with writing nozzle and star nozzle. Use silver leaves and silver balls to make the cakes more attractive.
